Overhauling an old grandfather clock

Rust . The enemy.

Fuzz , This grandfather clock been been sitting not running for years .

old brass cables need to be replaced 

More rust . This is the escape wheel . All of the gears looked like this one .

After Assembly.  Nice new cables . These are rated for 120 lbs.

Much better.  

On the test rack and running again .
